...FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch is cancelled for the East Slopes Sangre de
Cristo Mountains, Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Northeast
Highlands, which includes the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon burn scar.

Flash flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat through the
remaining morning hours. Please continue to heed any remaining road
closures.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...The East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Southern
Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Northeast Highlands, which includes
the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon burn scar.


* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Storm drains and
ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- After several rounds of storms Tuesday, wet antecedent
conditions and additional storms on Wednesday will increase
the chances for flash flooding, especially on the Hermits
Peak Calf Canyon Burn Scar.
