* WHAT...Urban and arroyo flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.

* WHERE...Portions of central Dona Ana County in southern New Mexico.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows  in arroyos and low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 738 PM MDT, Rainfall was beginning to diminish across the
Las Cruces area. Minor flooding from runoff is likely to
inundate arroyos and low water crossings, especially in the
Talavera area. Other trouble spots likely include the area
along the west mesa from Picacho and Fairacres south towards
Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park.

Talavera, Las Cruces, NMSU Main Campus, Mesilla, and
Fairacres.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Southern Dona Ana County in New Mexico, and
northwestern El Paso County in West Texas, encompassing the Lower
Mesilla Valley and El Paso's Upper Valley.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Water flow in in normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways and low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 608 PM MDT, Widespread showers and thunderstorms were
rapidly developing across the Lower Mesilla Valley and the
Upper Valley of El Paso. Around 0.5 to 1.0 inches has fallen
in some areas.
- This advisory covers a broad area, and Flash Flood Warnings
may be issued for more localized areas as needed.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
West El Paso, Anthony, Vado, Santa Teresa, Berino, Canutillo,
Chamberino, Vinton, La Union, Westway, Mesquite, San Miguel
and La Mesa.
