...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 1 and 6
inches, except 6 to 10 inches above 9,500 feet. Winds gusting as
high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Northern and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Sandia
and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, Far Northwest Highlands,
Tusas Mountains Including Chama, and Jemez Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be
reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
in front of you. This includes along portions of I-40 through
Tijeras Pass. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The next round of snow will bring late this
afternoon peaking in intensity tonight.
