...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 PM MST MONDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 3 inches, with higher amounts above 7000 feet in the Sacramento mountains. * WHERE...Eastern Lincoln County, South Central Mountains, and Chaves County Plains. * WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on snow packed or icy road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes, particularly along US 380 between Roswell and Hondo and US 285 south of Roswell. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A thin band of heavy snow will set-up across Lincoln and Chaves Counties early Monday morning. There is high uncertainty regarding the exact location of heavy snowfall and therefore forecast snow amounts may change significantly over the next 12-24 hours.
