...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Areas on and downstream of the Ruidoso area burn scars and the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon burn scar. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Storms will develop over the burn scars in the late morning and move slowly to the southeast through the afternoon.
