The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 9 PM MDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * WIND...West to southwest at 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 55 mph. * HUMIDITY...7 to 15 percent. * EXPERIMENTAL RFTI...6-8 Critical to Extreme in Southern New Mexico and Far West Texas desert lowlands. 5-7 Critical for Lincoln and Gila National Forests. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
