This includes the Ruidoso area burn scars. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving thunderstorms producing rainfall rates between 1 to 2 inches per hour are likely across the Ruidoso burn scars Saturday. Antecedent conditions and heavy rainfall rates may lead to flash flooding and debris flow on and downstream of recent wildfire burn scars.
