Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with locally higher amounts of up to 4 inches. * WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, and Lower Rio Grande Valley. * WHEN...Until 8 AM MST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Plan on snow packed or icy road conditions. This includes portions of I-25 and I-40. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An area of snow currently over far west central NM will move in the middle and lower Rio Grande Valley late tonight. Temperatures will drop below freezing resulting in accumulating snowfall. Locally heavier snowfall is expected in the core of the area of snow. Snow will diminish around sunrise Sunday.
