...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 7 PM MDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures up to 105 expected across Chaves County,
including Roswell. Temperatures up to 103 for portions of the
Albuquerque Metro. area.

* WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro
Area, and Chaves County Plains.

* WHEN...From noon to 7 PM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A high risk for heat related illnesses will
exist across these zones based on the NWS HeatRisk.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
