...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EST THIS EVENING... ...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas 4 to 6 ft expected. For the Gale Watch, west winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and seas 5 to 8 ft possible. * WHERE...Coastal waters from Sandy Hook to Manasquan Inlet NJ out 20 nm. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 9 PM EST this evening. For the Gale Watch, from Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Once seas subside tonight, there should be a lull in hazardous marine conditions until southerly winds increase again on Sunday night, with gale conditions likely to develop late Monday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas. &&
