For the Gale Watch, east winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and waves 3 to 6 feet possible. * WHERE...New York Harbor, including Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 AM EDT Thursday. For the Gale Watch, from Thursday morning through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
