...HEAT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM EDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values up to 109 expected. * WHERE...Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, and Salem Counties. * WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures around 75 to 80 degrees and high humidity will not offer much relief from the heat at night. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. &&
