Northeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Monmouth County in central New Jersey... Southwestern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey... * Until 900 PM EDT. * At 808 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Princeton Meadows to near Manalapan to near Asbury Park, moving south at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible. * Locations impacted include... Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell, East Brunswick, South Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan, Tinton Falls, Princeton, Beachwood, Jamesburg, Manasquan, Hightstown, Point Pleasant Beach, Cranbury, Seaside Heights, and Lakehurst. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8 and 9. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 4 and 34. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 76 and 109. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include... Coastal waters from Sandy Hook to Manasquan Inlet NJ out 20 NM... Waters from Manasquan Inlet NJ to Little Egg Inlet NJ from 20 to 60 NM... Waters from Sandy Hook NJ to Manasquan Inlet NJ from 20 to 40 NM... At 747 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located over Fair Haven, moving southeast at 35 knots. Locations impacted include... Leonardo, Sea Girt Reef, Shark River Reef, Point Pleasant Beach, Belmar, Atlantic Highlands, Manasquan Inlet, Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, Axel Carlson Reef, Sandy Hook Reef, and Fair Haven.
