* Until 900 PM EDT.

* At 808 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Princeton Meadows to near Manalapan to near Asbury
Park, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to
roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Lakewood, Jackson, Howell,
East Brunswick, South Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan, Tinton Falls,
Princeton, Beachwood, Jamesburg, Manasquan, Hightstown, Point
Pleasant Beach, Cranbury, Seaside Heights, and Lakehurst.

This includes the following highways...
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8 and 9.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 4 and 34.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 805 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
waterspouts was located over Axel Carlson Reef, moving south at 20
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large
hail.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could
result in structural damage.

At 747 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
over Fair Haven, moving southeast at 35 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Leonardo, Sea Girt Reef, Shark River Reef, Point Pleasant Beach,
Belmar, Atlantic Highlands, Manasquan Inlet, Monmouth Beach, Sea
Bright, Axel Carlson Reef, Sandy Hook Reef, and Fair Haven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
