...AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING... The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services has issued an Air Quality Alert for ozone until 10 PM EDT this evening. A Code Orange Air Quality Alert means that air pollution concentrations within the above mentioned counties may become unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children and older adults; anyone with lung disease such as asthma, emphysema, and bronchitis; and people who are active outdoors. Even healthy individuals may experience mild health effects and should consider limiting strenuous or prolonged outdoor activities.
