* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with
gusts up to 35 kt and seas 4 to 7 ft. For the Freezing Spray
Advisory, moderate accumulation of freezing spray.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Elizabeth, ME to Merrimack
River, MA out 25 NM.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 7 AM EST this morning. For
the Freezing Spray Advisory, until 10 AM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in freezing spray is hazardous.
Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic components
inoperative. Ice accretion on decks and superstructures may
result in some loss of stability. Strong winds will cause
hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and
reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid or mitigate
hazardous accumulation of ice on their vessel. During freezing
spray conditions the U.S. Coast Guard advises that you ensure all
lifesaving equipment remains free of ice.

THROUGH MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations greater than
12 inches possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, west central, and
western Maine and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Significant snowfall and periods of heavy snowfall rates
will combine with low visibility to create very dangerous driving
conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday
morning and evening commutes.

and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 25-30 below zero could
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
