* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Platte River near Leshara.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 8.5 feet, Significant lowland flooding is occurring
as the river is out of its banks. In addition the Papio NRD access
site at Highway 64 is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 6.9 feet...or 1.1 feet
below flood stage.
- Bankfull stage is 7.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 8.1 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
