* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions for a third consecutive day, with
afternoon and early evening heat index values reaching 105 to 115
degrees.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and central, east central,
and south central Nebraska.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The overnight hours will provide only limited
relief, with Monday morning low temperatures only dropping into the
mid to upper 70s in most areas, and humidity remaining high.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
