...FROST ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM CDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Temperatures as cold as 33 to 37 degrees could result in at
least patchy/localized frost formation.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and central and south
central Nebraska.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 8 AM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although temperatures will get cold enough to
support at least patchy frost in parts of the area, much of early
Thursday morning will feature southwest wind speeds of at least 10
MPH, which should hinder widespread frost formation for much of
the area. As a result, any frost will likely be heavily confined
to low-lying and sheltered locations. Because of this, the
majority of the Advisory area will probably not see frost.
