HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. The warmest day is expected to be Saturday. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central Nebraska. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, from noon Friday to midnight CDT Saturday Night. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from late Saturday night through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight low temperatures will fall no lower than the upper 70s, providing limited relief from the heat.
