Special Weather Statement
Issued: 2:36 PM Mar. 15, 2026 – National Weather Service
...Brief Visibility Reductions Likely Today in Snow and Blowing Snow... Although these counties in central and south central Nebraska are not included in the official Winter Weather Advisory assigned to counties farther north, at least a brief period of visibility reduction down to around one-half mile is possible over the next several hours as an area of mainly light snow moves through area, driven by very strong north-northwest winds gusting up to around 60 MPH. Although actual snow accumulation today will be minimal, mainly one-half inch or less, caution is advised while traveling due to the combination of reduced visibility and possible slippery road conditions.
