...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY UNTIL 10 PM CST THIS EVENING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MUCH OF EASTERN AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA... * AFFECTED AREA...Antelope, Pierce, Boone, Madison, Stanton, Platte, Colfax, Butler, Seward, Lancaster, Saline, Jefferson, Gage, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee, and Richardson Counties. * TIMING...Until 10 PM CST this evening. * WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 16 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
