...A RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1PM UNTIL 10PM WEDNESDAY FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY.. * WINDS...South to southeast winds between 15 to 20 mph will gust as high as 25 to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15-20 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South Central Nebraska and North Central Kansas Locations outside of the warning will still be expected to reach elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. &&
