* WINDS...Southeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph today.
West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph Thursday and Friday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* AFFECTED AREA...Western and much of central North Dakota.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control or suppress.
