possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern and central North Dakota, including
the James River Valley.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...The life-threatening wind chills could cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. Hypothermia could develop
shortly thereafter.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest period during this long-duration
event is expected Thursday evening through Friday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a potentially dangerous situation to be outdoors. If you must
be outside, be sure to cover all exposed skin.

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations up
to 2 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Central North Dakota, including the James River Valley.

* WHEN...From 6 AM CST /5 AM MST/ this morning to 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/
this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility to a half mile or less at
times. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday morning
commute.
