* WHAT...Heavy snow and drifting snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 6 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35
mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Minnesota and
northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
combination of warm temperatures and drifting snow can cause snow
to adhere to roads, creating icy patches. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Friday evening commute.
