extending from near Colgate to 6 miles southeast of Nome to near La
Moure, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* WHERE...Red River of the North at Fargo.

* WHEN...Until Thursday, August 14.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, MINOR FLOOD. Elm St between 14th and 15th
Ave N is closed (Fargo). Storm sewer pump stations are beginning
to operate (Fargo).

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 18.5 feet Sunday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
