...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Minnesota, including the following areas,
Clay, East Becker, East Otter Tail, Hubbard, Mahnomen, Norman,
South Beltrami, South Clearwater, Wadena, West Becker, West Otter
Tail and Wilkin and southeast North Dakota, including the
following areas, Cass, Ransom, Richland and Sargent.

* WHEN...From 3 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become
clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Convective activity could lead to very high rainfall rates
today as atmospheric moisture values remain quite high ahead
of a slow moving cold front.
