The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM CDT /10 AM MDT/ this morning to 10 PM CDT /9 PM MDT/ this evening. * WINDS...Southeast around 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent. * AFFECTED AREA...Far western North Dakota. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control or suppress. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
