...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and south central North Dakota,
including the following counties, southwestern McHenry,
southeastern Ward, northwestern Burleigh, eastern McLean, eastern
Oliver and western Sheridan.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Washburn, Underwood, Wilton, Turtle Lake, Mercer, Coleharbor,
Butte, Benedict, Regan, Ruso City, Baldwin, Balfour, Kief,
Ruso, New Johns Lake, Falkirk, Strawberry Lake, Cross Ranch
State Park, Hensler and Sanger.

* WHERE...A portion of south central North Dakota, including the
following counties, southwestern Burleigh and northeastern Morton.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 536 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain may enhance ongoing flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park,
Double Ditch Indian Village, University Of Mary, Lake Harmon,
Mcdowell Dam Recreation Area, Crown Butte Lake and Huff.
