...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ MONDAY... * AFFECTED AREA...A portion of southwest North Dakota. * TIMING...Until 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ Monday. * WINDS...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 12 to 32 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior. Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the field of this Red Flag Warning. A Red Flag Warning is issued when we identify weather conditions that promote rapid spread of fire which may become life-threatening. This does not mean there is a fire.
