CDT /8 PM MDT/ SATURDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
WESTERN AND MUCH OF CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA...

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon CDT /11 AM MDT/ to 9 PM CDT /8 PM MDT/ Saturday.

* WINDS...Southerly to 25 mph with gusts up to around 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* AFFECTED AREA...Western and much of central North Dakota.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control or suppress.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
