At 1016 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Louisburg to 7 miles west of Sanford. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Rocky Mount, Sanford, Smithfield, Nashville, Pittsboro, Louisburg, and Lillington. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 154 and 127.
