...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast North Carolina, including the following areas, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover, Inland Brunswick and Inland New Hanover. * WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A frontal system will impact the area later today and tonight bringing the potential for excessive rainfall which could produce flash flooding.
