* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along
the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west
bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 43.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 44.2
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage late Monday evening.
- Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
