At 1243 PM EDT, the public reported a strong thunderstorm near
Creedmoor, moving northeast at 25 mph. A second strong thunderstortm
is located near Research Triangle Park, also moving northeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

- At 1236 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding.

Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Oxford, Creedmoor,
Butner, Rougemont, RDU International, Morrisville, Stem,
Stovall, Lake Butner, Lake Michie, Moriah, Bahama, Gorman,
