PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. ...PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE PIEDMONT AND SANDHILLS THROUGH 9 AM THIS MORNING... Patchy dense fog has developed across portions of the Piedmont AND Sandhills of central North Carolina this morning. The lowest visibilities are expected to be over the western and southern Piedmont and Sandhills, where visibilities could drop to one quarter mile or less at times. Drivers are advised to use extra caution this morning, allow greater following distance, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Visibilities are expected to improve by 9 AM.
