As drought conditions continue to worsen, the combination of
increasingly dry fuels and low relative humidity values dropping
into the 20 to 30%, will result in elevated fire potential and
continued threat of adverse fire behavior.

Please consult your local burn permitting authorities as to
whether burning is allowed today. If you must burn, use extreme
caution, as fires can spread rapidly under these conditions.

...FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Temperatures in the lower to middle 30s will result in
frost formation.

* WHERE...Most of the Piedmont, the northern Coastal Plain, and the
northern Sandhills of NC.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation or
plants if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Frost in urban areas will be patchier in
coverage, if at all, due to temperatures mostly in the upper 30s.
