...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN NEW HANOVER... WESTERN PENDER AND NORTHEASTERN BRUNSWICK COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 400 PM EDT... The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southeastern North Carolina. Please send your reports of hail or wind damage, including trees or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office in Wilmington at 1 800 697 3901. &&
