The combination of low relative humidity values near 25 to 30 percent, dry fuels, and wind gusts of up to 25 to 30 mph will produce increased fire danger across northeastern North Carolina, excluding eastern Currituck County. Outdoor burning is discouraged. Please consult your local burn permitting authorities as to whether burning is allowed.
