...PERIODIC LIGHT SNOW AND SLICK ROADWAYS ACROSS THE NORTH CAROLINA
MOUNTAINS THIS AFTERNOON...

Periods of light snow will continue this afternoon across the North
Carolina mountains at elevations above 3500 feet, mainly north of
the I-40 corridor. Any additional snow accumualtion will be very
light. However, tempertures will remain below freezing through the
day and area roadways will become slick in spots due to compacted
snow.

Motorists are advised to use extra caution and allow extra time to
reach their destination.
