* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along
the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west
bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 44.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.4
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
