* WHAT...Northeast winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and
seas 7 to 10 ft.

* WHERE...The coastal waters from Oregon Inlet to Surf City.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong, post-frontal winds will continue
for several more hours early this morning. Elevated seas will
last through the day and into this evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.
