surf zone.

* WHERE...The beaches from Oregon Inlet to Cape Lookout.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tonight, beaches at risk to southeasterly
wave directions will be the most impacted. Monday, beaches at
risk to southerly wave directions will be the most impacted.
Vulnerable locations along immediate coast may experience
localized ocean overwash.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
