...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THURSDAY TO 6 AM MDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches, with higher amounts above pass level. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front, Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass, Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, and Northwest Beaverhead County. * WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if traveling through mountain passes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heavy and wet variety of snow may pose snow load impacts to infrastructure.
