* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 1 and 3 inches. For the Winter Storm Watch,
heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 12
inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Cascade County, including the Little Belt and Highwood
Mountains, Southern High Plains, and Judith Basin County and
Judith Gap.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 9 AM to 11 PM MST
Thursday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late Thursday night
through late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
traveling through mountain passes. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong Arctic front will bring rapidly
falling temperatures during the late morning to early afternoon
hours on Thursday, which will lead to a flash freeze of wet
surfaces.
