...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM WEDNESDAY TO MIDNIGHT MST WEDNESDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...West winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 90 mph expected and gusts over 100 mph possible, especially close to the Rocky Mountain Front. * WHERE...The Rocky Mountain Front and adjacent foothills and plains, and Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera Counties. * WHEN...From 3 AM Wednesday to midnight MST Wednesday Night. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible! Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected and could be of long duration. Blowing dust could significantly reduce visibility at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This is a dangerous situation! This windstorm will be reminiscent of the January 2021 windstorm. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind, and to ensure that they have sturdy shelter for this wind storm. If at all possible, consider delaying travel during the period of highest winds or finding an alternate route. Remember, a High Wind Warning means that there is at least an 80% chance of 40 mph sustained winds or 58 mph wind gusts occurring during the warning period. &&
