...STRONG WINDS WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL BIG HORN AND CENTRAL SHERIDAN COUNTIES... At 648 AM MST, mountain waves in the lee of the Bighorns were creating gusty and erratic winds of 40 to 60 mph. Expect the winds to continue over the next couple of hours, before gradually decreasing through the morning. Locations impacted include... Sheridan, Ranchester, Dayton, Big Horn, Parkman, Banner, Story, and Wyola. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong crosswinds could impact travel.
