Total snow accumulations between 7 and 14 inches near Chief Joseph Pass and 4 to 7 inches near Big Hole Pass. Snow accumulations between 1 and 5 inches elsewhere. Winds gusting over 60 mph at times on Thursday. * WHERE...Northwest Beaverhead County. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult with falling and blowing snow significantly reducing visibility at times. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. Power outages are possible. Travel could be very difficult to dangerous, especially for high profile or light weight vehicles. Blowing dust or snow could significantly reduce visibility at times.
