...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 16 inches, with the highest peaks seeing up to 24 inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 to 85 mph on Thursday. * WHERE...Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass and Northwest Beaverhead County. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. Strong winds could cause tree damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This will be a mult-day snowfall, with lulls in the snow at times. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
