* WHAT...For the Lake Wind Advisory, southeast winds 15 to 25 mph
with gusts up to 40 mph. For the Heat Advisory, heat values up to
101 are expected with little to no overnight recovery.

* WHERE...Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern
Valley, Garfield, and McCone Counties.

* WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, until 10 PM MDT Thursday. For
the Heat Advisory, from noon Wednesday to 10 PM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
hazardous conditions for small craft. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
